Why Is This Important?

There are countless, heart-breaking stories of ‘missionary attrition’ - those who have gone abroad to serve the Lord, but have ended up leaving prematurely, either due to circumstantial difficulties or lack of preparation. This is sadly common, and we want to help reduce the rate of attrition by equipping field workers and those supporting them. We believe the key is found in the relationship between the field worker and their sending church. The church’s interest should not fizzle out once they wave them off, but remain active throughout during preparation, ministry and return.
